REAL STRENGTH JOBS, FROM PROBLEM TO FIXED
Client names are kept private. The photos below are from actual jobs.
CABLE TOWER: DAMAGED CABLES ON THREE STATIONS
Problem: A multi-station strength tower had damaged cables on the low row, lat pulldown and chest press.
How we got there: We identified the exact cable assemblies needed and sourced them direct from the manufacturer, so every cable was the correct length and spec.
Result: Swapped the low row, lat pulldown and chest press cables, re-adjusted every remaining cable to proper tension, and finished with a full preventive maintenance inspection. All stations back in use.
COMMERCIAL FACILITY: LAT PULLDOWN STACK JAMMED BY CABLE TENSION
Problem: On a lat pulldown station the cable was so tight that the weight stack selector pin was locked in place - it could not be moved or removed.
How we got there: We disconnected the cable from the top of the stack to take the load off the pin, then checked why. The tension pointed to a cable that was the wrong length for the machine - the kind of thing that happens when a generic cable is fitted.
Result: Pin freed, the real cause identified, and the correct cable specified - not a guess. On the same visit we flagged two safety issues on other equipment: a cracked treadmill motor hood and a spin bike missing its seat-height pin.
WHY FACILITIES CALL US FOR STRENGTH EQUIPMENT
Wrong-length or generic cables are one of the most common causes of repeat strength-machine failures. We fit the correct part for the machine, set the tension properly, and inspect the rest of the station while we are there. Bi-annual and quarterly maintenance plans are available, with a service report for every machine.
