COMMERCIAL ASSEMBLY

A NEW GYM, BUILT OUT WHILE THE BUILDING WAS STILL GOING UP

Starting point: A new commercial gym with truckloads of boxed strength and cardio equipment. No power yet, no finished floor, and walls and ceiling still under construction.

What we did, three days in a row: Unwrapped and inventoried every unit. Separated construction debris from equipment hardware so no parts were lost. Planned the layout with the owner, then built every strength machine that could go up before flooring - hip thrust, chest press, multi-function trainer, biceps curl, rear-delt/pec fly and more - hauling the trash out as we went.

Result: An organized room, the strength floor built, and everything staged for the flooring crew and final placement.

FLOORING

SCHOOL WEIGHT ROOM: RUBBER FLOORING, LAID RIGHT

Starting point: A school weight room getting new rubber matting.

What we did: Day one was planning - placing mats in their zones, mapping the layout and deciding exactly where the double-sided tape would go. Then we installed. On the finishing visit we pulled any mats with poor seams, replaced them with better-fitting ones, and trimmed the edges so the rubber sits clean against the walls instead of riding up the baseboards.

Result: A tight, flat floor with clean seams and edges.

MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS, YEAR AFTER YEAR

APARTMENT COMMUNITY FITNESS CENTER, SINCE 2022

It started with one repair in October 2022 - the most-damaged treadmill by the exit. Since then we have serviced this fitness center in 16 separate months through 2026: calibration, lubrication, inspection, and fixing small problems before they turn into out-of-order signs.

FITNESS CLUB, SINCE 2023

Scheduled maintenance documented in 11 separate months from 2023 to 2026, with a service report for every visit.

TOUGH REPAIRS

HOTEL FITNESS CENTER: “DEAD” TREADMILL, FIXED ON THE FIRST VISIT

Problem: The treadmill console would not power on.

How we got there: We confirmed proper voltage at the outlet (120V), so the building was not the problem. Under the hood we found a main power cable disconnected from the power supply board.

Result: Reconnected and secured, then a full test - console, speed, incline - plus a stress test. Back in service the same visit. No parts needed, none billed.

PRIVATE TRAINING FACILITY: NO POWER, TRACED TO THE BOARD

Problem: A Woodway treadmill, completely unresponsive.

How we got there: Replaced the fuses, tested the lower control board, and swapped components between units to prove exactly which part had failed - so the right part was ordered the first time.

Result: New lower control board installed, every cable routed and reconnected, full function test passed. Fully operational.

BOUTIQUE STUDIO: A FLEET OF CURVED TREADMILLS

Problem: Motorless curved treadmills under constant studio traffic.

What we did: Full maintenance on the fleet. We caught roller bearings starting to hiss before they failed, replaced the rear foot covers on every unit, and came back to lubricate the bearings properly.

Result: A quieter fleet and no surprise breakdowns.
