Gym Equipment Techs Los Angeles, CA

Field Technician

Full Time / Monday - Friday / Occasional Weekends

1099 Contract Work / Not Responsible for Contractor’s Taxes

Hours of Operation: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Looking for candidates who excel in customer service. Who are mechanically inclined with a diverse amount of equipment. Who properly & efficiently get the job done. Someone who is mentally resilient and capable of accomplishing any task while keeping their composure.

**Qualifications**

 

•Knowledge with fitness equipment such as treadmills, ellipticals, rowers, bikes, steppers, strength/selectorized equipment, specialty, and custom equipment

• Must have a reliable vehicle (pickup truck preferred, but not required) with standard state insurance

• Must have a computer/phone with reliable connection

• Must have your own tools

• Pedal Wrench
• Screw Extractor Kit
• Extra Long Bits (32 set)
• Ratchet Wrench/Wrench Set 8mm - 19mm (Metric & SAE)
• Adjustable/Crescent Wrench (Preferably one that's 19mm)
• Standard Drill/Impact Drill With Bits
• Allen & Starbit Wrench's
• Multimeter
• Tool Bag/Box
• Rubber Mallet
• Hammer
• Ratchet & Socket Set (Metric & SAE)
• Dykes & Pliers Set
• Two to Four Ratchet Straps
• Floor Dolly & Two Wheel Dolly
• Working Cell Phone

 

Any Specialty Tools/Equipment/Supplies Will Be Purchased By Us For Contractor Use

**Responsibilities**

​

• Driving to and from appointments

• Delivery; Pick up and drop off

• Assembly, repair, and diagnostics of equipment

• Preforming preventative maintenance, moving/rearranging equipment

• Taking before and after photos of route taken in residential/commercial properties and area of                    assembly/repairs                           

• Collecting signatures

• Sending and answering emails

• Attend virtual/in person meetings/training

• Complete any online certifications required to work on equipment
