COUNTRY CLUB: PRECOR AMT THROWING ERROR 42
Problem: A Precor AMT kept faulting with error code 42 - the lift motor reading out of position.
How we got there: We worked the code through with the manufacturer’s tech support, ruled out the common causes, and traced the fault to the lower control board.
Result: Replacement lower control board installed, connections adapted to the updated board design, and final testing passed. Back in service.
FITNESS FACILITY: ELLIPTICALS SHUTTING OFF
Problem: Precor ellipticals powered off the moment a user stepped off, and the displays were unreliable.
How we got there: On a maintenance visit we load-tested the units and measured the batteries - they were depleted.
Result: Diagnosed and quoted on the spot, alongside bushings, impact shocks and a console pad replaced across the room during the same visit.
